Seven new members were admitted to Port Glasgow Parish Church on Sunday March 19. Prior to the service, they met together with minister the Rev William Boyle for five weeks, following the ABC of Discipleship course offered by Sanctuary First.

The new members followed another six who were admitted about a year before. Mr Boyle said: “Mission is the beating heart of all that we do at New Parish Church and I am delighted to see growth in our church, with a growing number on Sunday mornings, a Sunday Club of around 30, and throughout the week we are now open seven days a week, making good use of our facilities and bringing the community together.”

Milton of Campsie Church welcomed the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt Rev Dr Iain Greenshields, his wife and children to their service on March 5. Following the service and lunch, the family took part in Lionisimmo, a GoMAD event to which over 40 children came along. Iain is pictured with the Rev Julie Moody, both wearing their Lionisimmo t-shirts.

At morning worship on March 12, Hamilton South Church had a celebration for four elders who were retiring from active eldership, and another, William Taylor, received a 30 year long service certificate.
