The Fight with Fear
Dear Friend,
I meet a lot of people whose lives have been changed by fear. For many refugees fleeing conflict or for many children in care, that fear can lodge deep and refuse to budge. But for any of us fear of failure, fear of rejection or fear of loss can stop us in our tracks. Sometimes fear can stop us doing what we long to do, or even what we ought to do.
In the first Easter story Jesus opens up about his fears, sharing with God his Father and his disciples about his sense of dread and the impact it is having on him
We explore this theme of fear in the fourth of our Lent 2023 videos following the emotional journey Jesus takes during Holy Week We see how it offers us both comfort and challenge.
