Did you know that 1 in 6 people in the UK have a neurological condition? Chances are if you don’t have one yourself then you know someone who does.
1 in 6 of us live with a neurological condition but there simply isn’t the workforce or services in place to provide the support we – and our loved ones – need.
Join us in calling on all UK governments to #BackThe1in6 and set up a Neuro Taskforce to deliver real change.

There are over 600 neurological conditions. Dementia, stroke, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s, ADHD, autism, migraine and many more. Neurological conditions can affect every part of your life, from eating and sleeping to working and playing.
Because neurological conditions affect every part of life, you may need access to different services and healthcare professionals to manage your condition. The right treatment, care and support at the right time can make a huge difference.
But this support isn’t in place.
Help create real change.
In 2021/2022, 8,500 people responded to The Neurological Alliance’s UK-wide survey of adults and children affected by neurological conditions.
Together, they reported:
* A lack of mental wellbeing support
* Delays to lifechanging treatment and care
* A lack of information and support at diagnosis
We are calling on all UK governments to work together to establish a Neuro Taskforce to address these problems and create real change for everyone affected by a neurological condition.
