As the sun blazes down again, I am back at the desk once more after a two week break for annual holidays.  Rhona is also back home now after leading a fantastic school trip to Uganda which we hope to say more about at this Sunday's service.

While it has been a good break for me, it has been a difficult time for others, with the funerals of Willie John Macaulay and George Middler, members of Carnoustie and Barry respectively, taking place while I was off.  Their families will be coming to terms with their loss at this time.
